Episode 11: Tope Suicida Thoughts

This week's guest is The Wrestling Blog's own Butch Rosser. After lamenting about the lost episode from last week, we start in on Roman Reigns' drug suspension briefly and how Rusev became great again before moving into the juicy details about NXT's future with the brand split. We talk about Samoa Joe pulling double duty, Shinsuke Nakamura's readiness for RAW and reliance in NXT, the state of flux for the women's division, whether TNA imports should stay in NXT or go to RAW/Smackdown, which old guys should come back right into NXT, and whether or not the next Takeover after Brooklyn will be across the East River at Madison Square Garden. In between all that talk, we discuss the different languages WWE uses, both kayfabe speak and the kind of English that normal people don't use in real life in WWE broadcasts. We talk about how The Revival is the platonic ideal of a Southern heel, how the Wyatt Family needs protection, Dean Ambrose as WWE Champion, and some positive words on Camp WWE. Finally, we finish up looking ahead to SummerSlam.

Butch was always going to be a guest on the show, but he jumped his place in line by donating $25 to my Patreon. You can do the same. Donate $25 or more, and as long as you're not on my shitlist, you can get a spot on the show as a guest. Hell, you don't need to donate that much to help out. Any amount is good and will help, even as little as a dollar.
