It's the weekend, baby! You know what that means, time to drink precisely one beer and dial 911 wrestling is happening, and it's happening all around this great world. I'm going to highlight three shows which I think will be of most interest. Of course, I'm only one person. You can check out which shows are coming up possibly in your area via Cagematch. Anyway, go to, if you can, these great shows that may be happening in your area, on television/YouTube/streaming, or for later consumption via VOD, DVD, or whatever other means one uses to consume wrestling at a later date:

Chikara Silence in the Library, Dark Water, and Kill the Moon Tonight, Tomorrow, and Sunday (11/17-19), Kennebunk Elementary School, Kennebunk, ME (Friday, 7:30 PM local), Pentucket Lake School, Haverhill, MA (Saturday, 3 PM local), and the Old Country Banquet Hall, Enfield, CT (Sunday, 2 PM local time) - Chikara's final weekend swing before the season 18 finale takes place in New England. Tonight, the action settles in Maine, tomorrow in Boston's western suburbs, and Sunday in Connecticut. Each show has huge matches and lots of fun in the undercard, so the time has come to run 'em down. Tonight in Maine features a huge rematch from Chicago, as Rory Gulak looks to get his win back from Icarus. Icarus prevented Gulak from getting his third point, and seems really hell-bent on gatekeeping the promised land from the former Wrestle Factory trainer's little brother. Also on this show will be two fun tag matches, Xyberhawx 2000 vs. Cornelius Crummels and Sonny DeFarge, and the Rumble Bees of Travis Huckabee and Solo Darling vs. Dez Peloton. The Massachusetts show features a gigantic grudge match that has been in the making since early last season. Max Smashmaster will finally get his hands on Mike Quackenbush in a legal manner. That match might bring down the entire building given the hate between the two. Finally, the Connecticut show has two huge main events that put a cap on the weekend. First, Dasher Hatfield will go one-on-one with Mr. Bask In My Glory himself, Keith Lee, who is making his Chikara debut. Lee is one of the finest wrestlers on the indies right now, and Hatfield will look to prove that he can hang with the best of them. In the main event, Juan Francisco de Coronado puts his Grand Championship on the line against the Proletariat Boar of Moldova. The former teammates in the United Nations will clash with the biggest prize in the company on the line. IF you can't make it to any of the three venues for the shows this weekend, fret not. They will all end up on Chikaratopia afterwards.

Scenic City Trios Tomorrow (Saturday, 11/18), Hixson High School, Hixson, TN, 6:30 PM local time - I've been covering this since the announcement, but it's finally here. Scenic City Trios, the biggest and best six-man tournament to happen this year on American soil, will hit suburban Chattanooga. What can I write about this show that I already haven't? Check the tag for all the info. And in case you want a breakdown of all eight teams...
And don't forget, in addition to the entire tournament playing out in one night, you'll get an exhibition match between 2016 Scenic City Invitational winner Gunner Miller and certified HOSS Cyrus the Destroyer. Tickets will be available on walk-up, but if you can't make it, check out Powerbomb TV later on for your trios hookup.

Insane Championship Wrestling Fear and Loathing X Sunday, 11/19, The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland, 6 PM local time - ICW's biggest show of the year comes from Scotland's hottest venue for pro wrestling. Fear and Loathing will be a perfect appetizer for Survivor Series for Scottish wrestling audiences, featuring some huge matches. The main event will be a Championship unification match. In one corner will be the ICW World Champion Joe Coffey; in the other, it's Zero-Gravity Champion BT Gunn. That match oughtta be a beaut. The Women's Championship will be decided in a triple threat match inside a steel cage. Kay Lee Ray will have to fend off challenges from Viper and Kasey if she wants to keep her title. Additionally, Rob van Dam and Rey Mysterio will be making appearances. The former will be going up against Zack Gibson and Lionheart, while the latter faces off against Kenny Williams. Also appearing at this show will be Jimmy Havoc, Sha Samuels, and Jody Fleisch, among others. If you can't make it to the Hydu can watch it on demand later on with ICW's video service.
